06/30/03 Update
National Blonde Day
The site redesign for Cinema Insomnia has been effectively finished. There are a few things missing here and there and not
everything will stay where it is now. We've still got a ways to go, but we figured there's no time like the present. Welcome
to Cinema Insomnia Online version 3.5!
In the next week, we hope to get a Media section working, where those of you with high-speed connections (and those of
you with dial-up and a bucket of patience) can get some a/v stimulation. The Cult Films section will
gradually be filled with articles - regular featured columns are in the works.
As mentioned in the Shows section, we've been hard at work on the upcoming Cinema Insomnia season.
This fall, we plan to launch a small store here at Ci Online, offering t-shirts, caps, mugs and other crap. DVDs and VHS
copies of episodes are also soon to be available, so be on the look out.

No One Is To Blame
From http://slap.nu/~rdoty/comments.php?id=P224_0_1_0_C:
Mr. Lobo's Cult Cinema Supershow
I was looking forward to seeing Plan 9 on the big screen at the Crest. Well, it mostly sucked. Mr. Lobo, host of the public
access show Cinema Insomnia (which I'd never watched before) hosted, and was wholly unprepared. I was there a few hours
early and it looked like they were still trying to figure out what they were going to do. They started the show 30min late,
then spent an hour between their (weak) skits, and some (good) short films and trailers. When they did finally start the
movie, a high pitched whine (not me) and other sound problems made it more than unwatchable. I had already planned on
meeting friends at midnight, so I left about 20 minutes into the film. Guess that's why they make DVDs..."
Mr. Lobo responds:
I... I guess I owe Rick 8 dollars.
