Misunderstood Movie fans, It’s no secret that conventional TV has become a wasteland with a rare oasis here and there, like Svengoolie on Me-TV or the various fighting men and women of cable access. Some Insomniacs these days have to watch their budget and the outrageous costs of cable and satellite TV have turned many movie maniacs into internet scrollers and trollers–watching pixelated trading card-sized fan edits of bootlegged videos stutter on the YooHooTube.
CInsomniacs! Your favorite TV times are not dead.
Some smart Insomniacs have resurrected their favorite screens and tasted the sweet braaains of the future. You can too. You can watch CINEMA INSOMNIA on your bed in your jammies tonight! ZOM-BEE TV is a new channel that is available for the ROKU streaming players and it is the new flagship network for Mr. Lobo. There you will find an all-new HD episode featuring the 2009 film MAXWELL STEIN as well as fully restored high quality classic Cinema Insomnia episodes.
You need a ROKU Streaming Player. $60 for the base model at “Tar-gut” stores or “Worst Buy”…and worth it. You plug it in, it talks to your TV and your wireless internet, and boom! You’ve got streaming TV. There are some pay thingies, but most programming is FREE. Go to the channel store with your remote, ADD the ZOM-BEE channel FREE and enjoy Brand New CINEMA INSOMNIA, original music & review shows, and classic Drive-In movies…
We will be making more HD shows at ZOM-BEE TV including 3-D episodes! We will also continue to put out low-fi shows as well. The Quality of even the old shows is nicer…they’ve up-converted everything and they look and sound great.
If you already took your TV to the dump or you want to watch ZOM-BEE on the go. You are able to stream several CI episodes onto all your iDevices via the mobile player on the Zom-Bee TV web site. It’s a bit counter-intuitive, but on your iPhone you need to click “cancel” when it asks if you want to switch to the mobile version of the site: http://zom-bee.com/about.html
There will be many other channels on ROKU that you can enjoy like Netfix, Crackle, and even a few with Horror and B-Movie Content. Don’t be fooled. Zom-Bee has one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings of all the free channels. Some similar channels have miserable repetition and placement of ads and are uploading illegal off-the-rack video content. This is angering many of Mr. Lobo’s filmmaker pals and fans. Zom-Bee is working hard to do it all legit–Original and licensed content and well-researched public domain content. Roku is clamping down on copyright infringes and pirates who are ripping off the content owners and hurting channels like Zom-Bee that are trying to do it right. So a lot of these other guys wont be around soon.
ZOM-BEE TV has been very good to Mr. Lobo so far. Together they produced the new HD CINEMA INSOMNIA content at their 90 acre facility in Northern Virginia and they sponsored The Zom-bee Beauty Pageant at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival to promote the channel. Look for our Top 3 contestants as Spokesmodels for the channel helping Mr. Lobo introduce classic Horror and B-Films.
Mr. Lobo does get a split of the advertising proceeds so be sure tohave my show running in the background day and night even while you sleep! Their main focus is new original content–so I will be flying back east periodically to make new Cinema Insomnia shows and work on upcoming Zom-Bee film projects as a producer and actor. It is my gamble and theirs that internet based TV is the future. I urge you to try this inexpensive alternative to conventional TV.
http://www.roku.com/ has info about the player and the channels. Most of the channels are free or have a nominal charge. It has a TV type remote and the content is on demand. A LOT of my friends have cut their cable or junked their satellite dishes. Sounds like a commercial but Cinema Insomnia host Mr. Lobo and producer Dixie Dellamorto really love theirs so far and watch it nonstop. They say they hardly even touch their DVDs lately.

I just discovered your show in the recent Roku news bulletin and have added it. Thanks so much for making this! I grew up with horror hosted midnight movies and have missed them terribly, so it does my black heart good to see them returning to life via the wonders of streaming TV. Best of luck with the show in future!
Sorry James…we are working on this. This happens to Mr. Lobo sometimes…but not every time. Now we’ve informed ZOM-BEE’s technical staff and forwarded your letter to the CEO of the channel.
I just discovered your site through my Roku device. I have downloaded it. Let me first say that I love horror movies and always have since the late 50′s as a little kid watching sci-fi stuff back then. I have tried four or five times to play one of your movies. It begins just fine with the young lady introducing the movie and the commercial. EVERY time at the end of the first commercial break (after the movie has started) everything just stops and never returns back to the movie?! There is some hang up here since it does the exact same thing every time! Please check it, and thanks! I will love your product once it will play all the way through…
James Wesley
In a bit of irony, I cancelled my Dish Satellite in recent months due to the 700 channels I didn’t watch! That left 4 that I did, with the majority of my time–you guessed it–online watching Cinema Insomnia or my DVD’s! The Internet IS your Television, with NO commercials! I will look into ROKU and THANK YOU for the info. The Show continually evolves yet remains fun and fresh!( Like a relative you haven’t seen in years-their hair is styled a bit different but still look amazing! ) =)
